Every year there is always something that adds to the excitement of hair loss treatment. What does not work for one person could definitely work for another person. With hair loss becoming a huge problem on a global scale there is a lot of work being put into the next cure for it. While it is true that there is indeed no cure as of right now for hair loss, we can all look toward the future to hope that one day someone will figure it out.
For now we have hair transplant surgery, which is a great surgery for restoring lost hair and what is so great about it, is that it’s done with your own hair and not some doll-like hair that makes it seem unnatural and hard to manage. However, we can’t help but to look toward the future and one thing that stand out right now about the future is the advancement in stem cell research.
Stem cell research has shown us so much in the past years, it is possible that diabetes can be helped and people might even be able to see again after being blind their whole life. That’s not all though, research shows that when bald mice were injected with stem cells referred to as “blank slate” cells they started to grow hair. Due to the affects of the cells, researchers believe that this could be the cure people have been looking for to take hair loss completely out of the equation.
There are skeptics however to rather or not this is safe. There will always be skeptics in life who do believe this should be that or vice versa. However, when you think about the long term effects of baldness then you have to make a decision for yourself on rather or not it’s too dangerous to try.
